Evidence based, The Five Ways to Wellbeing – Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give – are a selection of simple yet proven public mental health messages aimed at improving the balance, resilience, mental health and wellbeing of the whole population.
At Unmasked Mental Health, we utilise these five very important steps on a daily basis and as such find that incorporating this into our mind-set helps us improve our own wellbeing by doing so. We would actively encourage and highly recommend you to do the same. This is a fun, engaging and interactive session.
Unmasked was initially set up by three friends from Halifax, who battled and overcame personal mental ill health issues. They wanted to give something back! Their goal was simple – to Unmask the stigma surrounding mental ill health, nationwide, and get people talking.
Now, they’ve passed the baton to a new Board of Directors and an Executive Team who are building on their legacy and goals and who are moving forward to make Unmasked a force to be reckoned with in combatting poor mental health in our region.
Our services are accessible to everyone, whether you’re an individual having a rough time, or if you’re an employer looking to give something back and look after your employee’s mental health and well-being.
