Unmasked Mental Health provides a telephone service to employers enabling any employee to contact our organisation when they feel they may be struggling with their mental health.
The employee can confidentially speak to a trained counsellor for up to one hour about how they are feeling and receive support and signposting to relevant services*.
The service costs the equivalent of just £2 per employee, per month on a two year contract.
*service is available Monday to Friday between 8.30m & 5pm excluding bank holidays. Calls outside of these hours will be picked up the next working day.
Unmasked was initially set up by three friends from Halifax, who battled and overcame personal mental ill health issues. They wanted to give something back! Their goal was simple – to Unmask the stigma surrounding mental ill health, nationwide, and get people talking.
Now, they’ve passed the baton to a new Board of Directors and an Executive Team who are building on their legacy and goals and who are moving forward to make Unmasked a force to be reckoned with in combatting poor mental health in our region.
